Terminim Wines

Marsanne | Roussanne. We put the juice directly into French oak barrels waiting for the native yeasts to do their thing. Bottled relatively early to retain its lively textures and freshness.

The word is derived from “Terminus” the Roman God of borders and boundaries. The source of the grapes for TERMINIM is the Alder Springs Vineyard in Northern Mendocino County – that’s as far as we will go… Terminim.

We source all of our grapes from Alder Springs Vineyard in Mendocino County. After our crew walked the vineyard together we agreed to start very small with three grape varieties. Marsanne, Roussanne, Syrah.

We received 2 lots of Syrah that we kept separate through the fermentation cycle. We employed a secret technique that we now refer to as “Methode François” – since he suggested it.
