In January of 2018 François and Donald and Stu Bewley from Alder Springs sat down to discuss a plan for the upcoming vintage. There will be additional Syrah from Spirit Rock in 2018 up to 5 tons (or about 300 cases). In addition to the Marsanne and Roussanne – TERMINIM will also receive about 1000 lbs each of Picpoul Blanc and Viognier to add to the Cépages d’Or for 2018.
We are interested to see how these changes impact the resulting blend. We are not expecting explosive growth with this brand. It may be possible to have it grow slowly (very slowly) from the 2018 levels depending upon demand. No doubt these wines are a very small and specialized slice of the wine market in the US.
